Alumni Talk

Mr. Harish Pola, Alumni of ATRI,
Batch 2015-16

AURORA a term which enriches life... I Harish Pola ,alumnus of ATRI, graduated in the stream of Electronics. When I look back a flash of memories make me nostalgic. I remember the great days spent during my graduation which was more of practical learning rather than theoretical. Every student in the college was paid attention by staff which in turn gave us a feeling of being important at ATRI where we got a perfect platform to enhance our skills and set goals which led to shape a bright future for us. We were given many opportunities to showcase our talent in every field, like technology, sports, techno-cultural fest, extracurricular activities and so on.

A teacher is a driving force responsible for the development of a student's personality and career. According to me, a teacher is the creator of a student's future. In ATRI we had experienced professors who supported and guided us in each and every aspect of studies. The motivation received was remarkable. At this moment I would like to thank my teachers for moulding a bright future for me.

Another instance to cherish was the college ambiance. It is an excellent place to exchange knowledge. It taught me how to make a rapport with my professors and my friends for my well being. I took the initiative in all the possible ways to learn things through which my confidence levels increased and interpersonal skills developed. I took the opportunity to co-ordinate and conduct events in the fest and technical talks.

We had pre-placement sessions, i.e.,.CRT training wherein each and every student was prepared to get placed in an MNC. CRT training helped every student to get clarity as to how the companies conduct the placements.

I would like to express my deep sense of gratitude to the college management, without whose support and cooperation I wouldn't be able to fulfill my dreams and be in a good position and start my career in an MNC. At present, I am gaining experience as the Business development Executive at Accenture Solutions Pvt Ltd. I would like to thank the Director and faculty members who stood behind me and supported my successful journey with AURORA "Temple of Learning" in all the aspects of my student life. Proud to be an ATRIan.

Mr. Srikanth Gunda, Alumni of ATRI
Batch 2014-15

A good leader is one who can figure out where the problem lies, deal with it effectively by involving all the members of the organization and improve the overall culture of the group. ATRI had exactly instilled these leadership qualities in me with the focus on success in every aspect. The four year journey at ATRI is the best thing to happen in my career. 2010 was the year in which I have entered the family of ATRI, which nurtured me till 2014. During the course of journey curricular as well as extracurricular activities have had equal importance and thanks to the culture of ATRI as it had motivated me to study and do well in other extracurricular activities as well. I secured 75.3% overall aggregate and took active participation in various Technical Fests as well. I was elected unanimously as Class Representative of my class. Serving the IETE Organization for one year (2013-14) as the Chairman and conducting various events was my best achievement in college. This helped me develop a proactive approach, take the initiative and play a leadership role in motivating people and executing the tasks to completion. Similarly even in College Fests like SCIENTIA2K11, IRIS and AURA2K13, I participated as an event coordinator, event organizer respectively. I also won second prizes in events like 'Circutek' and 'BREAK ME AND BUILD ME'. Having graduated from this prestigious institution was indeed a boon for me. I am currently working in Chennai, at COGNIZANT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS as a Programmer Analyst since one and a half years. Truly the things I had learnt at ATRI helped me grab a respectable job in Cognizant and with the strength and confidence to believe in myself, I will definitely put in my best efforts with dedication and commitment at any position in any Organization.

With all my pleasure, from the bottom of my heart, I thank each and every faculty at ATRI especially Sathish Babu Sir, the then HOD, Sudha Vedantam Madam (Assoc. professor) for being my greatest Motivators. Thanks ATRI for everything. - Srikanth Gunda

Alumni Talk

Mr. Surya Teja, Alumni of ATRI
Batch 2013-14

ATRI, a royal blue deep ocean of knowledge, which is rich with drops of creative, talented and dynamic Engineers, and among them I SURYA TEJA being a part of the most renowned college of Engineering and Research Institute in the state of Telangana.

Having immense love for gadgets and the urge to know more about one, made my vision obvious to become an Electronic Engineer, being firm on which I have joined the ATRI in the Electronic and Communication department and successfully graduated in the year 2014.

To speak about the 4 years journey, it is hard to decide what comes first when someone asks about ATRI, having said that, the most memorable thought which strikes my mind is the canteen atmosphere, which I suppose is the best place for each individual to spend time meeting, gossiping, discussing, sharing experiences with your seniors, suggesting your juniors and ofcourse strengthening the bond of friendship and love.

ATRI has been a very huge platform to make best out of myself, having opportunities in the every corner to make ourselves a better person. Being a class representative for all the 4 years gave me a push to interact with college professors and dignitaries, which has set my path for having the privilege to be a student coordinator, organizer for almost 36 events and also excel my leadership qualities. The professors and the management have always been a supportive and friendly. Despite my involvement in various activities my aim of becoming a good Engineer was never difficult, with the guidance of faculty it was easy for me to graduate with Distinction.

My love for ECE and encouragement from faculty always pulled me further into it and encouraged to work as an active member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE - 2011 to 2014) and my passion towards it made me the vice present of The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE - 2013-2014). I have also conducted many workshops like palaash 1.0 and palaash 2.0 which helped students including me in attaining great knowledge. Opportunities always knocked my doorsteps, which led me to participate in various technical and non- technical competitions having a chance to represent ATRI in many outdoor events. Using the technology, I was able to connect with other students and make important announcements through Facebook page called ATRI UPDATES which got a huge support from Director, HOD's and faculty members of all departments. And to add the last but not the least, I have also worked as an active student coordinator for placement in 2014 from ECE department.

ATRI was not just a place for me attain knowledge, but also to explore my abilities, learn to gain trust and to make great friends. After graduation, I worked as an intern at EDUROBO for 4 months as a robotics designer. Then after recently, I have successfully completed my Masters in electronics and computer engineering from New York Institute of Technology, New York. (2014 to 2016) with 3.92 GPA. I had the chance to work as the Teaching and research assistant for molecular communications, wireless network and security systems in my college. Presently gaining experience as Network engineer in ACI WORLDWIDE Inc., South Carolina.

Through this article, I would like to show my veneration and thank my beloved Director Mr. Prabhu G, Mr. Sharma (DEAN), Mr. Srinivas (HOD - ECE), Ms. Latha, Ms. Sudha, Ms. Sujatha (HOD-CSE), Mr. Rama Rao (HOD-Mech) and all my other faculty members for supporting me in the ups and downs of my graduation life.

My respect for ATRI will never go down, as AURORA "Temple of Learning", which is a perfect and true saying in every manner for its student's life. Proud to be an ATRIan.
